Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting Alif Gallery located in DIFC, Damac Park Towers in Dubai. We were impressed by the class and charm of the owner and curator Ms. Natalya Andakulova who showed us her classy and cozy gallery full of inspiration and good vibe, where the magic of middle east meet Art at its most intense expression thanks to the great selection and taste of Art Masterpieces.
Alif Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of work by Vyacheslav Useinov, artist well – known in his native Uzbekistan, where he works across a ranges of media and techniques. ‘Mixed Threads‘ exhibition is an overview of his mature practice and favors the under – recognized genre of textile art. This exhibition takes place at a time of a tapestry renaissance, when textile art is been given more attention by collectors and investors.
This exhibition remains on view through 7pm on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 in Alif Art Gallery.
Vyacheslav Useinov (b. 1962, Uzbekistan). In 1985, he graduated from Bobruisk College of Fine Arts. He has participated in numerous important exhibitions at home and abroad. His works are in collections at the State Museum of Arts, Fergana Museum of Art, Samarkand Museum of Art, World Bank collection, Washington and in privates collections in USA, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Israel, Russia.
