X BANK – Amsterdam

X BANK takes up a 700 m2 space of the W Hotel in Amsterdam, and it is the ultimate comprehensive combination between fashion, art, design. Situated at the heart of Amsterdam within the Red Light District, just steps away from the lively ‘Nine Streets’ and Dam Square, X BANK is the epicentre of creativity in the Netherlands.

X BANK was established, in order to give back and connect the people of Amsterdam, standing as a creative incubator that highlights local creative talents by focusing only on Dutch fashion, art and design labels. Its active and rotating programming is based on the curator’s vision where thought meets creation and creation meets invention and it is the ideal place to discover the work of 180 different Dutch labels. X BANK is an active concept store, an exhibition hall, installation gallery and meeting point that responds to a growing demand for innovation and more lively retail experiences

By providing a local and international platform for artists, designers and creators, X BANK aims to present talent through the Dutch DNA, while their main objective is to supply the public with access to unique products and programming all year round.

While combining several elements, X BANK brings together the evolution in the new Dutch DNA- a DNA that is global, a DNA that is local, a DNA that builds together.

X BANK is showcasing and selling the work of some of the most established Dutch designers such as Marcel Wanders, Denham and Scotch & Soda. Not only that, but also the work of couturier Mattijs van Bergen’s is beautifully displayed, and product designer Dirk van der Kooij is represented with his lamps, that you can also find at the lounge of the hotel. Other product ranges fall under books, graphic design products, photography, perfume, flowers, bags, ceramic and many more in different price points, along with the work of graduates of the Design Academy which can be admired.
