Bentley unveils the Bentayga Falconry SUV

For the mega-rich who practice the ancient sport of falconry, the company’s in-house bespoke division – Mulliner has announced the Bentayga Falconry designed to serve as the perfect car for well-heeled falconers, a super-luxe customized SUV, the price of this customization is 200,000 pounds.

“At the heart of the Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner are two individual natural-cork-fabric-trimmed units: a master flight station and a refreshment case,” Bentley said. These sit on a movable tray that allows for easy access. Inside the master flight unit is a special Piano Black veneered drawer – with a Saker falcon crest – containing modified storage for all the equipment required for this unique sport.”



The equipment includes a GPS bird tracking unit, binoculars, hand crafted leather brid hoods and gauntlets. There are two extra perches stored out back. With the hatch lifted, falcons can be prepared out back in the shade.



Falconry is considered a sport for kings in the Middle East so it was vital that every detail was luxurious along with utmost functionality to appeal to their valued customers in the region and globally.

Exquisite craftsmanship commands the exuberant price tag of this car as the dashboard boasts a sweeping desert scene featuring a native Saker falcon which took nine days and 430 individual pieces of wood to craft. Each piece of the inlay went through 4 distinct processes of cutting, hot sand shading, pressing and double cutting, before being assembled by hand.
