ECHO is the region’s first multi-sensory festival where art, design and technology intersect. Three days of workshops hosted by international experts, installations, a conference, and an immersive, audio-visual sound festival are united under the theme ‘Interacting with the Future’.

d3 Art Market
d3 is hosting its first Art Market from December 21 till 23rd to support the UAE’s emerging and established creative community.

Up to 30 artists will be hand-picked to showcase their work to the city’s art lovers and engage with the culturally curious who may feel too intimidated by upmarket art galleries and fairs.

Art Market will be supported by live music, creative workshops, talks, panel discussions, poetry readings, and open mic performances. d3’s restaurants will support this unique initiative with special menus and culinary pop-ups.

East Wing presents ”Plastic Sea” exhibition by Mandy Barker.
International photography platform East Wing celebrates the opening of its new gallery space in d3 with the beautiful and thought-provoking photography of UK artist, Mandy Barker, whose work highlights the impact of plastic waste on our environment and planet.

Mandy’s series ‘Beyond Drifting, imperfectly known animals’ was shortlisted for the 2017 Prix Pictet award and has now been made into a book.

Join us for the opening night on December 10, from 7pm – 10pm.

The exhibition will be running until February 10, 2018.

Eternal Rotation at AR Gallery
Have you spotted AR Gallery’s horse statues at d3?

These gigantic outdoor horsehead statues were created out of 4000 recycled aluminium cans by an international team of art students of Hungarian, Slovak, Czech and Emirati art universities and led by the Hungarian contemporary artist, Gergő Kovách.

The horseheads are willing to raise awareness and ask the following questions: do we consume more than we should? What are the risks of creating more and more waste every year?
