DUBAI, UAE. JUNE 2019: The giant entrance sign on the incredible Coca-Cola Arena has been installed – signalling the two day countdown to the history making first ever live event at Dubai’s new multipurpose indoor venue.
It has taken over a whopping 5.65 million working hours since ground was broken in 2017 to turn the ambitious project into a reality, with the live entertainment and sport world hailing Coca-Cola Arena as a “game-changing” opening for Dubai and the rest of the Middle East.
The final part of that incredible process is the massive Coca-Cola Arena sign being completed and fixed into position signalling the 17,000 capacity arena ready and set to welcome its first act, comedian Russell Peters this coming Thursday, June 6th.

Nestling into its new home against the Coca-Cola brand red LED façade lights the bright white sign with its iconic curling ribbon ‘C’s’ will be an incredible sight for arena visitors.
AEG Ogden’s CEO of Coca-Cola Arena Guy Ngata said ‘The Coca-Cola Arena sign being installed onto the venue is the moment the UAE recognises the arena is ready to welcome guests inside to experience the very best of live entertainment from around the globe. Having the sign fully completed and in position portrays the final step in transforming the building into a place where memories are made and we are incredibly excited to welcome our first visitors and performers this week.’
