On the occasion of the Emirati Women’s Day, Khawla Al Serkal, Director General of Sharjah Ladies Club, said: “Emirati Women’s Day is an ideal opportunity to salute the human values which are reflected in the lifestyle and culture of every Emirati woman, who instils it in her children as part of her mission and as an educator.”
Al Serkal added: “As we celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, Sharjah Ladies Club also recognises that when women are economically empowered, they are able to invest more in their families and communities, producing a multiplier effect that spurs economic growth and contributes to national stability. We remain vigilant in our pursuit of gender equity and opportunity so that all women may blaze new trails, pursue their dreams, and reach their full potential.
“Based on our vision and goals which are inspired by the emirate’s culture, values and mission, we are committed to empower women to contribute to society as well as to drive the development of Sharjah and the UAE. Our aim is to promote women’s vital role in enriching society and highlighting its civilised aspects,” she concluded.
