‘United Moments’ is a new body of work by British artist Julian Castaldi hosted by Kulture House. This exhibition which will run from 1st – 30th September, encompasses a mix of traditional paintings on canvas using acrylic and enamel, and wooden and steel elements found on the coastline by the artist himself.
From the moment you set foot in Kulture House it is clear that this vivacious space takes art very seriously. Design, uniqueness and vibrancy runs through the veins of this brand and supporting local artists is part of the Kulture House mantra.
The ‘United Moments’ exhibition will prove another exhilarating facet of the Kulture House experience. Artist- Julian Castaldi’s paintings are taken from old photographs that he re draws, adding in his own elements and backgrounds before drawing them onto the canvasses and painting them in his own distinctive style.
His work is reflective of his love of nostalgia of the old monochrome photographs of the UAE and its leaders. Ever the artist, he wanted to add a pop art element with clean edges and colored backgrounds, straying away from the traditional portraits one tends to see but keeping the portraiture theme.
Kulture House proves the ultimate destination with delicious food and coffee enjoyed in a stunning space, a concept store filled with global treasures, the TropiKulture fashion pop up and now they are adding the ‘United Moments’ exhibition to his burgeoning repertoire.
Let Kulture House take you on a journey of discovery….
