The Bottega Veneta eyewear collection for Fall 2019 is an exercise in true essentialism that establishes a new design language for the brand. The core collection is called The Originals. All inspired by iconic shapes, these styles use sharp volumes and intriguing proportions to evoke a cool glamour and modern elegance.

The entire collection features a new branding signature: a gold fringed ribbon, which is expressed differently on each style. Like the intrecciato weave, the ribbon functions as discreet iconography— immediately recognizable to those who know.

For the Originals, the Bottega Veneta logo and Original name are finely engraved inside the right temple. All styles, including the lightweight shapes in full metal and the mixed constructions in contrasting materials, are engraved with the logo. The subtle branding lends a sense of intimacy; it can only be seen up close.

This new vision is grounded in Bottega Veneta’s heritage of craftsmanship, which remains at the core of the eyewear collection.
